We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and manage electrical maintenance operations.
The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery . This role involves leading a team of maintenance technicians, planning and scheduling maintenance activities, troubleshooting electrical issues, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a team of electrical maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
- Plan and schedule maintenance activities to ensure minimal downtime and optimal performance of electrical systems and equipment.
- Perform regular inspections of electrical systems, identifying and addressing potential issues or hazards.
- Troubleshoot electrical problems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Coordinate with other departments to prioritize maintenance tasks and minimize disruptions to operations.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment history, and inventory.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety among maintenance staff.
- Evaluate the performance of maintenance technicians and provide feedback for improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize the reliability and efficiency of electrical systems.
- Stay informed about new technologies and best practices in electrical maintenance, recommending updates or improvements as needed.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering, maintenance management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in electrical maintenance, with at least [3-5 years] of experience in a supervisory role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and machinery, including PLCs, motors, generators, and control systems.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical issues and implementing solutions effectively.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of maintenance technicians.
- Solid understanding of safety regulations and best practices in electrical maintenance.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and planning skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
