Warehouse Team Leader
The Warehouse Team Leader oversees daily operations within the warehouse to ensure the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. This role involves supervising warehouse staff, enforcing safety and quality standards, and driving productivity while maintaining inventory accuracy and timely order fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and motivate a team of warehouse staff.
- Coordinate daily activities, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Monitor performance, provide coaching, and conduct training for team members.
- Ensure warehouse operations comply with company policies and safety regulations.
- Conduct inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., logistics, purchasing, customer service) to ensure smooth operations.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Assist in implementing process improvements and efficiency initiatives.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, ideally in a supervisory role.
- Secondary education
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge and experience in working with SAP, ERP is a plus
- Very good command of English is an advantage
- Good understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office .
