Supervisor – Maintenance Department

The Supervisor plays a key role in bringing people together—coordinating and leading the team to ensure smooth, efficient operations.They don’t just manage processes—they motivate, guide, and empower their team to perform at their best. By fostering a supportive and positive work environment, the Supervisor helps team members grow, stay engaged, and take pride in delivering quality work while upholding safety and efficiency standards.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on the machines to ensure continuous and efficient operation;
  • Diagnose mechanical issues and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime and ensure smooth production;
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to proactively address potential equipment failures;
  • Collaborate with other departments during shift changes to ensure continuity and optimal machine performance;
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including completed work, parts used, and time tracking;
  • Ensure all maintenance tasks are carried out in compliance with safety regulations and company standards;
  • Support the installation and commissioning of new machines and related systems;
  • Provide technical training and guidance to machine operators and junior maintenance personnel on proper equipment use and upkeep;
  • Foster a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvement within the maintenance team;
  • Participate in team evaluations, provide feedback, and support staff development initiatives;
  • Communicate effectively with management regarding team performance, machine issues, and project updates;

REQUIREMENTS:

  • University degree in Engineering or other relevant technical field;
  • English language proficiency – B2 level;
  • Previous experience in team leadership;
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation;
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving;
  • Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams;
  • Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to operational protocols;
  • Willingness to provide hands-on training and support to team members;
