Procurement Operations Expert

For an international company, a leader in the Power Energy sector, we are looking for motivated professionals with a passion for procurement and a drive for growth and success. A Procurement Operations Expert is responsible for managing and optimizing the day-to-day purchasing activities of a company, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services. They coordinate with suppliers, track orders, maintain procurement records, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services.
  • Identify and assess potential vendors, negotiating contracts to obtain optimal pricing and terms.
  • Maintain strong partnerships with suppliers and regularly review their performance to ensure compliance with agreements and quality expectations.
  • Prepares price quotations and conducts negotiations with suppliers;
  • Handles the purchasing of raw materials and components required for manufacturing operations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.
  • Analyze market trends and industry developments to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
  • Keeps detailed and organized documentation of all procurement transactions and associated costs.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Stay abreast of regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to procurements

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics , or a related field.
  • Proven experience working in a purchasing or procurement role, preferably  in a manufacturing company.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with purchasing software or ERP systems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Good level of English B1-B2
